COVID-19 testing is available for free for anyone every Tuesday at the drive-through testing site at PVMC. Call 907-255-6063 to pre-register. You'll need medical release forms to fill out and bring with you to the testing, which are available at the CTI office. ID and face masks are required at the testing site. Complete details are below.
Providence Valdez Medical Center is offering free, voluntary, drive-through COVID-19 testing for the Valdez essential workforce beginning tomorrow, Thursday, June 4, from 11:30am-1:30pm. UPDATE: Testing is available every Tuesday morning. Consent forms & tickets are available at the CTI office with Marianne. Pre-registration is required, as is an ID and wearing a mask. "Isolate" - You have symptoms; stay home
"Quarantine" - You have or know you've been exposed to COVID-19. Involves very specific mandates.
"Shelter in Place" - Everyone in Valdez is required to do. Can go on walks outside, exercise 6-foot rule. No groups outside of family. Only 1 person in family goes out for errands.
